This is a picture of the awards I won at the fair and one of the prizes I got. I recieved a blue ribbon and a trophy for first place in the bigginer wedding cake catigory and two white ribbons for third place in the sugar art (lillie) and fanticy cake devisions. This was among the pros too. I felt pretty good concidering I have never had a class or lesson. I got four things of fondant, five bags of powdered sugar, six bags of regular sugar, a tote bag, an apron and a check for $50.00. and had a lot of fun along the way.

This is a picture of my cake in the wedding cake catigory at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. We had to get our insperation from a wedding dress so I got to use Kimber as a model. I was one of the first ones there so to bad you can't see the other cakes. I had so much fun even before I won and learned a lot. I can't wait till next year. Thanks Pat and Debbie for making me do this.
This is the fanticy cake I made for the fair. The theme was holidays around the world, so I have a santa getting stuck in a chimney with his slay full of toys, a cornicopia of fruits and vegtables, and a Chinese dragon among other things.

This is me setting up at the fair and this is a picture of my lillie and the picture of the lillie I made.

I got to make this "groom's cake" for Keven's wedding. His family calls him turtle so he got a turtle cake. I have to say, this was one of my favorite cakes to make.

I got to make this cake for my friend Debbie's son and his bride. She and Pat are the two that got me into this new hobby so I took a lot of pleasure in making a cake for her.
I got to make this cake for a little boy turning three. He really wanted a tractor cake for his birthday because his grandpa drives one. I couldn't help but think of my dad that first put me on a tractor to drive when I was seven. I miss him.
I made these two cakes for a little girls first birthday.

I made this cake for a friend returning from an LDS mission. Way to go "Richie".
This was a fun wedding cake I got to make. They were having two partys a day apart so they got two top layers to their cake.

Here is a Picture of my oldest daughter Kimber. I get to work with her, and she often helps me with my cakes.

Here is a picture of my son winning again. He is a good wrestler, getting to go to state twice, but more importantly, he is a good kid.

I thought I would add a cute picture of my daughter Kira at a marching band competition. She also plays the bassoon.

Here is Kasey and her friend Adam on their way to Prom. Kasey and I made her dress and Adam's matching tie. To bad Kasey likes such boring colors LOL. She had a wonderful time.
This was a fun cake to make for a friend's baby shower.
I got the opportunity to help out a friend. We held a benefit dinner and auction to raise money for Shane's cancer treatments and his son's ceizure disorder. There was a western theme, so I made this cake to sell.

This is another cake made for the benifit. Shane and his daughter helped me make the flowers for it.

This is a cheesecake made for the benefit.
I had to add a picture of Kasey and her date Daniel. Kasey and I made her dress, and Daniel's matching tie. They had a great time at the dance.
Here is a close up of the little football player I made to go on the cake.
Here is a cake I made for a Bronco fan.

I made this cake for my brother Jared to give to his wife Trudi for Valentine's day. Their son Jackson's reaction was fun. He was looking at the cake and he asked, "is Aunt Pollyanna in the paper for Best Cake? She should be!"

I had another friend have a birthday. I love birthdays because it gives me an excuce to make cakes. This is a chocolate cheese cake that turned out nice. I used this cake to practice making suger lillies for a wedding cake I will be doing soon. My daughter Kimber helped me with the rose border. Thanks Kimb.

My friend Emily wanted to play with fondant, so I had her come over and help me make a Sunflower cake for my good buddie Pat for her birthday. We had a good time. I like the little lady bug Emily added.

I made this cake for my friend Randy when he was leaving on an LDS mission. He saved the top layer until he left.

This was the best cake to make, and got the best reaction. I made this for my niece who loves monkeys when she turned 12. When she saw it she was not impressed. She didn't know it was cake, she couldn't figure out why I was giving her such a Juvenal toy. When she figured out that it was completely eatable she changed her opinion of her gift.
My mom and her sister came for a visit so I made a cake of course.

I made this cake for a friend to give to a friend. I like making these little cakes. This was only about the size of 3 cupcakes.

This is a cake I made for my son's friend when he turned 16.

I made this little cake for my niece for her 3rd birthday. She loved eating the little bear.

I made this little cake as a "thank you" for a friend that helped our family while my husband was in the hospital.

I made my own fondant for this cake that I made for my sister in law. Fondant is fun!

This was my first cake I made for my friend's birthday.
